ImpAnalysis
The system enables the assessment of a structure’s technical condition based on measurements of its dynamic specifications within a high frequency range. The registered parameter is the electric impedance of piezoelectric transducers used as sensors (so-called electromechanical impedance). This value depends on the dynamic parameters of the structured being tested and allows the user to get information about its technical condition. The system also allows you to carry out analyses by means of the resonant ultrasound spectroscopy method.
Our Products
Easy and Intuitive Inspection of Connections

The basic area of applying the system is the non-destructive inspection of the technical condition of screwed, riveted, soldered and glued connections where it would be difficult to use conventional methods, e.g. ultrasound tests. The electromechanical impedance is measured by means of piezoelectric transmission and reception heads equipped with waveguides. This solution also allows detecting damage to small elements of machines and devices made of various materials by evaluating their frequency characteristics.
ImpAnalysis also enables the user to continuously monitor the tightening torque of screwed connections by means of the piezoelectric pressure sensor in the form of a ring under the screw. This solution is used in diagnostic applications of structural nodes of masts, buildings, platforms, bridges and industrial systems, e.g. pipelines. The possibility of easily expanding the measurement infrastructure built within a distributed network of data acquisition units allows the user to remotely monitor many critical points of the system. The degree of protection of the system elements against dust and moisture complies with IP66 according to PN-EN 60529:2003 and so allows it to operate continuously in variable operational and environmental conditions. The advanced signal analysis system allows the prevention of failures by precise planning of overhaul and maintenance works.
Major Areas of Application:
- Testing the quality of screwed, riveted, welded and glued connections,
- Continuous monitoring of the tightening torque of screwed connections,
- Detection of cracks and other mechanical damage in elements made of metallic, ceramic and composite materials.
Advantages:
- Non-destructive measurement,
- Short time of measurement – approximately from a dozen to several dozen seconds,
- Detection and location of damage,
- Possibility of remote operation in variable environmental conditions,
- Easy configuration and expansion of the system due to its modular and scalable architecture.
